FIRELAND.it has been created with the aim of becoming a major platform for
the purchase of products for heating the home using wood or pellets, whether
for fireplaces or stoves, using air (ventilated and unventilated) or water.
The aim is to make this market increasingly efficient and accessible, to
promote a form of heating, that based on wood, which is the only one which
allows Italians to use a resource which we have in abundance (unlike methane
gas and oil, which our country largely imports, thus dissipating our wealth
outside of Italy).

In 2007 over 3,600,000 families were already using wood or pellets as their
main or secondary source of heating, and this figure has been growing exponentially
both in Italy and the rest of Europe. In Europe some countries understand
the importance of this source of renewable heating and provide full incentives
for it through tax arrangements, others less so, but in any case the phenomenon
is in rapid expansion, and, as in every booming market, growth encourages
new entrants. Manufacturers are multiplying and it is increasingly difficult
for the end user to make an informed choice that meets their particular needs:
FIRELAND.it aims to offer a range of products (it can already currently offer
around 20 different brands which are without question among the best in Europe)
and, with just a few clicks, allows the purchaser to compare the leading products
from the comfort of home, giving the possibility to buy them at a heavily
discounted price, which is possible thanks to the simplicity of online operations
and the obvious cost savings compared to a traditional company.
The know-how of FIRELAND.it staff is based on the experience of the company
which owns the website, Fa.Pi.R. S.r.l. The company was created in 1962 and
is a key player in the distribution and installation of fireplaces and stoves
(with over 10,000 goods installed over the last decade alone). It has 40 staff
members, three sales centres and two logistic centres. Compliance with the
sector specific regulations and the rules for the correct operation of equipment
is an objective which the portal aims to safeguard, also thanks to the partnership
with ANFUS, the national association of chimney builders & repairers and
chimney-sweeps, of which Fa.Pi.R. S.r.l. is a longstanding member.
FIRELAND.it is open to any form of constructive cooperation, exchange of
opinions and experience, as well as to any manufacturers not represented in
its range who wish to be part of this window on Europe and to help to spread
the clean and renewable use of wood, which today, thanks to the phenomenon
of reforestation, is being replanted at a rate well above our annual consumption.
